The John W. Brown is docked at a commercial dock several miles from downtown.  This would be appropriate if there were signs directing you to the ship, but alas, that is not the situation.

Good luck finding her-I asked 2 firemen, one cop and two taxi drivers where to find her.

Finally I got someone to answer the phone at the Taney, a WWII Coast Guard Cutter.  The nice woman gave me great directions.

I have no idea why Baltimore does not promote this ship.  It is a shame.

If you are going to visit, and you should, get directions BEFORE you go.  Baltimore doesn't seem to want to promote her.
