The Captain was a very patient man.  I watched him being regaled with a story by a very "entitled" lady. She haughtily talked about badgering a Hispanic Officer (she made sure to point out that he was Hispanic 3 times) into taking her husband on a ride on a Navy Vessel. She seemed to be convinced that she was very important.  

The Captain eventually excused himself.  I probably would have thrown her overboard (with a life jacket though).  When I ran into him later, I commended him for his composure, he smiled and said that it came with the 4 stripes.
