Norfolk, VA Naval Training Station Football Team

From Bob Boscoe: After Sampson, I went to the Portsmouth, VA Hospital Corps School and then to the Norfolk, VA Naval Training Station where this picture was taken. The players are all from the medical unit. I was the quarterback and coach.

Dick Lutz was a trainer at Georgia Tech and Herb Camille became a relief pitcher for the Chicago Cubs. We never lost a game! After this I was at NOB Norfolk, VA working in the Master at Arms Dept. and then on the U.S.S. Wakefield in the Pacific.

Miller was in charge of the Medical Personnel on the Wakefield.
