A number of people have asked me why I don't have their Company posted on the site.

It's not that I want to slight anyone.

By my estimate there are over 4,000 Company pictures.

That doesn't include all the various schools and similar groups.

The museum has about 2,000 of the pictures.

I only have about 40, less than 1% of the pictures posted on this site.

It would be great to have them all that have been found so far, but I couldn't afford to pay for the space it would take up.

In addition the time needed to scan, edit and post them exceeds the time I have available (working for a living is annoying, but necessary).  

Most of the pictures on these pages were 

donated by people from Ebay, 

the Great Lakes Naval Museum and by 

members of the Companies

Or their families.

Each spring-all of the originals 

and prints of any that are high enough resolution 

are donated to the Sampson Museum.
