Please share this website's URL with your friends from Sampson. It's been the Official Sampson Website of the WWII Sampson Navy Vets since 2002, but is not listed in the Newsletter. At least once a month, a long-time member of the Association "finds" their website. At the 2007 reunion, at least 50 people stated they didn't even know that they had a website... thank you - Russ Padden - Webmaster Jake Rilling's Sampson Website was the original Official Sampson web site (1999). When Jake became ill, Steve Bull asked that I take over the Official website-adding material from Jakes site to my larger website. Most of the material from the original website is spread throughout the site. What didn't fit with areas already existing is here: Jake's Material

	Odds are that any chain email you get isn't true. Many spew ignorance, arrogance and intolerance. Please check them before you pass them on. I have intentionally kept the navigation of the pages simple. Each page has only a few images so that people with dial up connections can enjoy the site. The few "flashy" images and effects that you see were created by my friend Brian. They are included because I like them and don't want to be boring.... If it's "cool" looking, he did it. Find the cure!	Hosting Direct-my web host I changed to them in March 2003 because prior host was terrible. They have been rock solid since day one.
